Shirley L. Myers Obituary
We bid farewell to Shirley L. Myers (Cortland, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Tolbert and Eleanor Tolbert; her spouse Ewing Myers; her stepmother Dorthy Tolbert; and her sisters, Betty Jayne Jefferies and Janet Wolfe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Starlet Thomas of Austintown and Kathy Myers of Austintown; her granddaughters, Sarah Maloney Jr. (Mike) of Austintown and Jessica Creech (Devon) of Barberton; her great grandchildren, Rebecca Maloney of Austintown, Michael Maloney III (MJ) of Austintown, Robert Smith of Barberton and Emma Creech of Barberton; her sister June Hardy of Fairchance, PA; her sister-in-law Florella Silvis of Murrysville, PA; and her pet Hope. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Western Reserve United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
