He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Penn and Ruth Garrett Penn. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Springer Penn; his sons, Owen Penn of Cortland and Matt Penn (Kelli) of Cortland; his sister Jackie Adams of Warren; his grandchildren, Trevor Penn (Alli), Jeremy Penn (Hannah), Haiden Penn, Avery and Allie Penn; his great grandchildren, Barrett, Roman and Carter Penn; and his pet Ellie.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel (1884 North Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483).

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the American Legion Post #540, 369 S. Colonial Dr. Cortland, OH 44410.
