He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Rice and Evelyn Rice (Tharp); and his sister Nancy Costar. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Shepard; his children, David Rice (Connie) of Bentleyville, PA, Amy Hatfield (Mark) of Washington, PA, Karla Richards (Michael) of Washington, PA, Richard C. Rice of Boardman and Joshua Rice of Boardman; and his sister Debra Knox of Washington, PA.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
