With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lula Ann Edenfield of Cortland, Ohio, who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Spencer and Nora Trent Spencer; her husband Kenneth Wayne Edenfield; her daughter Deborah Thompson; and her siblings, Creed, Ernest, Lloyd, Clay, Beulah, Maerine, Marie, Edna and Lucille.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Edenfield (Misty) of Warren, OH, Kimberly Nelson (Phil) of Kent, OH and Michelle "Shelly" Straitiff (Cliff) of Warren, OH; her son-in-law John Thompson (Barbara Faris); her grandchildren, Brandyn Hurd (Tess), Amber Thompson, Sal Thompson, Erin Schaad (Matt), Jeff Nelson (Sandra), Kyle Kaster, Heidi Straitiff (Rick Suleman) and Bethany Gillespie; her great grandchildren, Henry, Heidy, Gabriel, Jack, Christopher, Lane, Darcy and Charlotte; and her siblings, Carlene Carty-Hamilton and J. B. Spencer of Mansfield, OH..
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the General Assembly Church of God (2021 E River Rd, Newton Falls, OH 44444).
