It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph J. Thomas (Cortland, Ohio), born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on February 7, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thomas and Mary Thomas; his son Dominic Thomas; and his siblings, Virginia Kuboff and Thomas Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Thomas; his children, Kenneth Thomas (Pam) of Lordstown, Joseph Thomas (Mimi) of New Orleans, Michael Thomas of Canada and Cheryl Thomas (Robert Harnett) of Cortland; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Thomas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Per his wishes there are no services and memorial contributions can be made to Crossroads Hospice located at 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr suite E, Uniontown, OH 44685 in his memory.
