We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2023, at the age of 87, Janet R. Briscoe of Cortland, Ohio, born in Warren, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Josie Swanson and Myrtle Swanson (Harter); her son Charlie Briscoe of Morgantown, WV; and her husband Owen H. Briscoe. She is survived by: her sister JoAnn George of Tucson, AZ; her daughters, Debbie Briscoe of Yankee Lake, OH, Pam Phillips-Leach of Bedford, TX and Lisa Forss of Temecula, CA; her grandchildren, Brooke Briscoe, Brett Briscoe, Chaz Briscoe, Morgan Rodriguez, Carli Deroo-Briscoe, Jordy Harris, Jenni Jarman, Ryan Phillips, Alexander Forss, Gabriella Forss, Mande Babyak, David Leach, Andrea McClendon and Erin Wasche; and her great grandchildren, Kaleb Harris, Josie Jarman, Quinn, Avery Briscoe, Mia, Ava Rodriguez, Mila, Lily Briscoe, Adalyn, Emerie McCullum, Hayden Deroo-Briscoe and Keaghan O'Conner.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the local veterans association in Janet Briscoe's name.
