He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Max Berecek and Lena Barbara Berecek (Mickulin); and his sister Violet Coe. He is survived by: his sons, Gary Berecek of Pittsburgh, PA and William Berecek (Linda) of Whittier, CA; his sisters, Eleanor Governor of Cortland, OH and Rose Gibson of Arizona; and his grandsons, Anthony and Adam Berecek.
