We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2024, at the age of 71, Barry Michael Piper (Cortland, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father George Piper; his brother-in-law Larry Burt; his niece Melanie Charvat; and his in-laws, Earl and Madeline Gisewhite.
He is survived by: his mother Edna Mary; his wife Cheryl; his siblings, Dennis (Jacque) and Sherron; and his children, Jeffrey S. Piper (Molly) of Boardman, Beth A. Mathes (Kevin) of Cortland and Katie A. Hill (Jeff) of Austintown. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Homes-Cortland Chapel (164 N High St, Cortland, OH 44410). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bronzewood Golf Club House (9645 Kinsman Pymatuning Rd, Kinsman, OH 44428).
In lieu of flowers, Barry requests that suggestions be made to the front office of the Cleveland Browns.
