He was predeceased by: his father Hayward "Abe" Younkin; his wife Martha Belle Dodson Younkin; his stepmother Lucille Crippen Younkin; his siblings, Dick, Bob Wood, Ray Younkin, Wilda Faye Younkin, Bonnie Phillips and Nina Durben; his son-in-law Chuck Campbell; and his grandchildren, DJ Taylor, Caleb, Collin Post, Josea Post and Oaklynn Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Marie Campbell, Beth Pettet (Pete), Jo Maynard (Bill), Patty Miller (Rich), Peggy Post (Bob), Wilber Younkin and Mike Scaggs. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
