He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bloomfield and Vietta Rodgers Bloomfield; and his sisters, Dorothy Ghent, Iona McClain and Martha Colleti.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cavinee Bloomfield; his daughter Carol Schaumleffel (J. C.); his grandchildren, Brendon and Dillon; and his niece Betty Manbeck. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
