He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Summerfield and Edna Lamb Summerfield; his siblings, Irene Parker (Herbert), Mildred Caldwell (Cecil), Earl (Pearl), Buel (Hilda) and Charles (Juanita); his son Rex Lee; his grandson Roger Swartz; his children-in-law, Vernon Swartz, Alvin Donahue and Carolyn Summerfield; and his nephews, Stan and Rick Summerfield.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Sharon Donahue, Gerald (Janet) of Coolville, Tom (Barb) and Sina May Murphy (Bob) of Reedsville; his sister-in-law Lorena Wolf of Coshocton Ohio; and his cousin Doris Harrison (Stan). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and twelve spouses; 36 great grandchildren, 4 spouses and 5 fiance's; 6 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
