He is survived by: his wife Teresa Estep Kisor; his children, Shawn Cline, Corey Hoover, Casee Hoover, Maggie Hoover and Abby Hoover; his grandchildren, Shay Sanders, Carri Holloway, Kylea Holloway and Little John Carpenter, Jr. (Bub); his great grandchildren, Kyson Lee Sanders and Evelyn Mae Sanders; and his siblings, Beth Goldhardt, Brad Hoover and Lisa Hendershot Schilling.
