He is survived by: his wife Mary Shephard Simpson; his sons, Ned Simpson (Deanna) and Nicholas Simpson (Stacie); his grandchildren, Austin, Bow, Max and Athena; his brother Tim Simpson (Cathy); his stepchildren, David Bates (Susan) and Karen Cerbus; his stepgrandsons, Ryan, DJ and Kurtis; his stepgreat-grandson Logan; and his pet Sassy Boots Simpson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
