We bid farewell to Scott O. Minnich of Convoy, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 17, 2025 at the age of 61. Scott touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jon Minnich and Patricia Minnich (Vachon); his brother Mark Minnich; his brother-in-law Melvin Henry; and his nephews, Randy, Royce and Regis Spindler.
He is survived by: his wife Carey A. Minnich of Convoy, Ohio; his children, Amber Fairbanks (Levi) of Sparta, Ashley Minnich of McMinnville, Gabrielle Minnich of Dunkirk, Brandon Minnick (Olivia) of Hoagland, Matthew Minnick of Monroeville, Zachary Minnich (Crystal) of Monroeville and Jacob Minnick of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his siblings, Marijane Crowe (Michael) of New Haven, Emmett Minnich (Rose) of Convoy, Ohio and Annette Spindler (Russell) of Rockford, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Autumn Minnick, JT Smoot, Jayven Hillis, Mattilynn Minnick, Laythan Hillis, Jude Warner, Isabella Orick, Lexy Minnick, Isabella Warner, Jaxon Minnick, Connor Purk, Eden Minnick, Emery Minnich, Daphney Minnick, Maxton Minnick, Waylon Minnick and Lincoln Minnick.
A rosary was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home- Jacobs Chapel (111 S Water St, Monroeville, IN 46773). Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church (601 Jennings Rd, Van Wert, OH 45891).
Preferred memorials can be given to St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic School, Van Wert.
