He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. and Mary E. Coyne (Tempel); his wife Evelyn R. Klinger; his children, Irene Gerig and Stephen Coyne; and his siblings, Francis (Coyne) and Rosemary "Rosie" Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Reno (Steven) of Van Wert, Ohio, Linda Converset (Joseph) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Pamela Summers (John) of Convoy, Ohio, Yvonne Bidlack (Ronald) of Van Wert, Ohio, Wayne Coyne (Sally) of Middlepoint, Ohio, Michael Coyne of Convoy, Ohio, Charles Coyne (Donna) of Gladwin, Michigan, Bryan Coyne of Grover Hill, Ohio and Eric Coyne (Brandy) of Payne, Ohio; his children-in-law, Randy Gerig of Woodburn, Indiana and Amy Coyne of Paulding, Ohio; and his siblings, James "Jim" Coyne (Gladys) of Decatur, Indiana, Delores "Dolly" Ross of Decatur, Indiana, Patricia "Pat" Brown of Monroeville, Indiana and Dorothy "Dort" Litchfield of Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home Jacobs Chapel (111 S Water St, Monroeville, IN 46773). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Louis Catholic Church (15535 Lincoln Hwy E, New Haven, IN 46774).
In lieu of flowers preferred memorials can be given to Masses for Dick Coyne or OhioHealth Foundation.
