She is survived by: her children, Erick G. Pifer of Holland, Michigan and Bonnie L. Morell (John) of Park Ridge, Illinois; her grandchildren, Andrew Pifer, Abigail Pifer, Robert Morell and Julie Greve; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Paige and Lyla Greve; her sister Marilyn Reed of Convoy; and her stepchildren, Dr. Myron G. Mohr of Baton Rouge and Cheryl Johnson (Leonard) of Van Wert.

“I got to know Refa at Vancrest. She had all her meals in the dining room with my mother, Joanne Bowen. Refa was such a wonderful and sweet lady. My mother passed away on March 1st 2020. Then I could no longer get in to visit anyone after the Pandemic hit, but I always looked forward to going back eventually to visit with Refa. I want to send all of Refa's family my sincere sympathy on your great loss. I wish I could have gotten to see her at least one more time. God be with you & bless you all.”
