She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellsworth Mitch and Grace Mitch (Guenin). She is survived by: her husband David A. Ashbaugh of Convoy; her sons, John Ashbaugh, Jeff Ashbaugh (Kristen) and Chris Ashbaugh; her stepdaughters, Susan Mell (Ralph), Dorothy Bauer (Brian) and Michelle Hire; and her sisters, Debbie Schumm (Dale) and Julie Frandsen (Ned). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
