He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav J. Schumm and Dorthea Schumm (Beinz); his wife Isabelle (Wermer); his grandson Gregory Karl Schumm; and his siblings, Arthur, Paul Schumm, Ora Dolde and Ida Johnson.
