He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman Owens and Merle Owens (Finkhousen); his wife Lois Eileen Owens (Krugh); and his siblings, Marjorie J. Hoblet, Vivian M. Bowers, Marvin A. "Jake" Owens, Edward Owens, Waldo C. Owens, Marlin F. Owens, Donald L. Owens and Robert M. Owens.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Perkins (Robert) and Scott Owens of Convoy; his grandchildren, Keri Perkins of Ashville, Matthew Perkins (Katie) of Convoy and Jamie Perkins of Cincinnati, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Nolan and Lane Perkins; and his sister Juanita Christian of Van Wert.
