He was predeceased by: his parents, John Prowant (David) and Lucretia Prowant (Mast); and his siblings, Mark, Greg Prowant and Shelly Coble.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Geckle; his children, Destiny Nicholson (Joseph) of Ney, Scott Prowant Jr. (Kijana) of Continental, Christian Prowant (Hailey) of Continental, Sierra Prowant of Toledo, Trinity Prowant of Continental, Jensen Prowant of Continental, Shayden Prowant of Continental and Sawyer Prowant of Continental; his grandchildren, Logan, Brody, Cora Nicholson, Skyler, Blythe Allen, Jules, Kirstine Prowant and Desiree Prowant; and his sister Cheryl Burkhart (Jim) of Defiance.
