He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Slattman and Lois Slattman (Tracy); and his siblings, Gary Slattman and Ida Ankney. He is survived by: his children, Troy Slattman (Stephanie) of Napoleon, Tracy Potts (Dennis) of Continental, Tabby Williamson (Dean) of Continental, Sarah Llewellyn (Patrick) of Continental and David Slattman (Kelee) of Continental; his grandchildren, Taylor (Spencer), Trevor (Brooke), Hunter, Christopher, Gavin (Bree), Madelyn, Brayden, Elias, Elijah, Evie, Gus and Emelynn; his great grandchildren, Lincoln and Zane; his siblings, Dave Slattman (Joanna) of Continental, Pam Sigler (Jimmy Helland) of Defiance and Sally Guilford (Mike) of Ottawa; his sister-in-law Judy Slattman of North Creek; and his close friend Lucky Lanes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Continental Fire Department.
