She was predeceased by: her father John Steel; her siblings, Johnny Steel, Jim Steel and Betty Spangler; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Steel, Nancy Steel, Virgil Goodwin, Bob Spangler and Basil Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Norbert Henry Ruen; her children, Gary Brown (Mary) of Holgate, Dennis Brown (Penny) of Florida and Deb Seely (John) of Pioneer; and her sisters, Dorthy Goodwin and Pat Brown. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
