She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer F. Schwartzengraber and Doris Schwartzengraber (Corkwell); her children, Mary Ann Shepherd and James Mays, Jr.; and her siblings, Robert, Donald, Glenn, Richard, Charles, Doyle Schwartzengraber, Wanda Noia, Alice Horn and Carol Thrash.
She is survived by: her husband James Corbin Mays; her children, Donna Bailey and Marvin Mays; her grandchildren, Desmond Shepherd and Alisha Shepherd; and her siblings, James Schwartzengraber, Katheryn Brinkman, Geraldine Catto and Charlene Spencer. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
