He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Ruen and Mary Ruen (Breece); his siblings, Clarence "PeeWee" Ruen, Norbert Ruen and Constance Schreiber; his siblings-in-law, June Ruen, Norma Ruen and Duane "Skeet" Schreiber; and his son-in-law Joseph Gyetvai.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann Fenbert; his children, Darlene Griffith (Terry) of Continental, Marlene Gvetvai of Continental and Joseph Kirk (Vicki) of Continental; his grandchildren, Latimer Gyetvai (Christina), Erin Noffsinger (Derrick), Krystal Bowers (Nathan), Jacob Griffith (Jodi) and Brandon Gyetvai (Rachelle); and his great grandchildren, Cole, Annika, Delaney, Rhettik, Keenan Bowers, Avery, Aislynn, Briggs, Braelynn Noffsinger, Jackson, Jayla, Jarret, Joseph Griffith, Lucas, Gavin Gyetvai, Aiden, Opal and Juniper Gyetvai.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church- Continental St (4893 OH-634, Continental, OH 45831). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Continental Fire Department.
