He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Hawkins and Pearl Hawkins (Ackert); his sons, Jeffery and Steven Hawkins; and his siblings, Josephine Cullison, Marilyn Rodehauer, Rosena Weaver and Clifford Hawkins.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Cross; his daughters, Diantha Henry (Jim) of Continental, Rosena Bush (Homer) of Continental and Rebecca Brenneman (Tim) of Lima; and his brother William Hawkins of Owensboro, KY.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
