It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert R. Evans of Conover, Ohio, born in Piqua, Ohio, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Clay and Helen Mae Evans (Hines); his brother Donald Evans; and his father-in-law Roy Martin. He is survived by: his wife Becky M. Batdorf (Martin); his sons, Chris Batdorf (Wendy) of Bettendorf and Jared Evans (Amy) of Urbana, OH.; his grandchildren, Vella, Vienna Batdorf and Raegan Evans; his mother-in-law Ruth Martin of Covington, OH; his siblings, Fred Evans (Janet) of St. Paris, OH, Susie Geuy of Urbana, OH and Nancy Roach (Dave) of Huber Heights, OH; and his siblings-in-law, Chuck Martin of Troy, OH, Kathie Leistner (Dan) and Robin Epperson (Steve) of Conover, OH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
