He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Haney and Lela Haney (Spence); his wife Sharon R. Haney (Enz); and his siblings, Shirley Denman, Beverly Miller, Peggy Rose, Robert "Jack" Haney, Ronald Haney, Keith Haney and Clarence "Fuzz" Haney.

He is survived by: his children, Scott Haney (Karen) of Piqua, OH, Michael Haney (Bridget) of Piqua, OH and Julie Reed (Russ) of Piqua, OH; his siblings, Richard Haney of Piqua, OH and Dianne Bair of Piqua, OH; his brother-in-law Gary Enz of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren, Ellen Haney, Frances Fries (Brendan), Jarod Haney, Ryan Haney, Morgan Haney, Stefani Pierce (Kenny), Jenna Reed (Kyle) and Jeremy Reed; his great grandchildren, Kaylei, Brock, Jayna, Joey, Mili and Emmitt; and his pet Jake.
