Durenda K. Chappie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Durenda K. Chappie of Conover, Ohio, born in Piqua, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 27, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Durenda had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Durenda may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil K Schmidt and Wanda Schmidt (Shadoan); her sister Donna; her great-niece Heather Dills-Walker; and her great-nephew Nathan Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Chappie; and her sisters, Diana Schaffer (David), Denise Bruce (John) and Dora May Rodriguez (Edward). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
