He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Scout, Derek and Dustin, I; his grandchildren, Harley "Peanut" and Max, I; his siblings, Sharon Dewey (Chuck), Sheila Dansereau (Ed), Dennis Rhodes (Connie), Janet Falke (Mark) and Sid Mitchell; his friends, Donnie Cosner and Dan Hennigan; his parents, Gordon "Dusty" and Lenna M.; and his grandparents, Claude, May Hawn, Roland and Eleanor Rhodes.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers to contribute to the American Lung Association in his memory.
