It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita L. Swanson of Conneaut, Ohio, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Hollingshead and Vera P. Hollingshead (O'Connell); her son Eric; her sister Patricia; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Knipper, Carol and Dan McClintic.
She is survived by: her husband Melvyn Swanson; her children, Angela McCrory (John) and Matt Swanson (Leslie); her grandchildren, Jack, Paige and Cameron; and her sister Sally Janss (Kenneth).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in her memory to the Ashtabula APL, 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
