He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Ed" Sanford and Kathleen "Kay" Sanford (Remmel); and his grandchildren, Thomas DeMarco and Stella Scalise. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Scalise (Bryan) and Patrick Sanford Jr.; his granddaughter Amelia Scalise; his siblings, Chuck Sanford, Steve Sanford, Mike Sanford, Michael Sanford, Peggy Bish and Karen Mick; his stepdaughter Madison Gildersleeve; and his stepgrandson Beckham Tomcanny. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
