She is survived by: her parents, William Hewitt (Bill) and Nancy Hewitt; her husband David Fetters; her daughter Taylor Fetters; her siblings, Scott Hewitt (Maria) and Kylee Hewitt; and her son David Scott Fetters. She is also survived by her nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Marcy Funeral Home (208 Liberty St, Conneaut, OH 44030). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations in honor of Michele be made to The Briermost Foundation at briermost.org or to The American Red Cross, who she worked closely with for many years organizing blood drive events for the community.
