He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Laitinen and Jean Laitinen. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Scott Laitinen; his children, Lisa (Jeremie Buehner) and Scott Laitinen of Conneaut; his granddaughter Vanessa Buehner; his sister Karen Ryan; and his aunt Betty Laitinen.
