She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Marie Schmelzer and Carl S. Schmelzer; her husband Pelton W. Wheeler (Ty); and her siblings, Eileen M. O'Meara (John), Carl J. Schmelzer and Dr. William C. Schmelzer.
She is survived by: her sons, Tyson J. (Ying), Carl H. (Jacquelin), Brad P. and Mark A. Wheeler (Carmen); and her grandchildren, Molly Fenske (John), Jason, Megan, Sebastian, Salvatore and Alan Jason. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
