He is survived by: his wife Eddie Clark-Hines; his siblings, Caroletta Hines and Michael Hines (Leanne); his children, Willie L. Hines III, Wetzel "Tony" Hines, Danielle Hines, Warren Hines (LaJaiah), LaTisha Lewis (Gary), DeShawn Smith and Da'Shaun Smith; his nephews, Laureese Hines (Kanika), Michael Hines II (Andrea) and Nigel A. Hines; his niece Gabrielle C. Hines; his uncle David Washington (Cloe); his aunt Shirley Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Harrison and Earnestine Croomes. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the East Chapel (5456 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43232). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Dayton National Cemetery (4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45417).
