He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elmer and Sarah Hazel Resch (McMannis); and his brothers, Wesley Resch, Ernest Gregory and Donald Resch.

He is survived by: his wife Nora Resch; his daughters, Lisa Daniel (Perry), Ralonda Linger (Jim) and Katrina Heckathorn (Chris); and his grandchildren, Holly Malone (Andy), Justin Linger (Tiffani), Joshua Linger (Nikki), Nora Anthony (James), Noah Daniel and Liam Heckathorn. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchild.
