He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Emzy Williamson and Alice Blackburn Williamson; his siblings, Curtis, Beatrice, James, Calista, Dyke, Vergil, Tom and Gary Joe; his wife Sue McKinzie; his children, Julie, Sherri, Wendell Jr. and Keith; his grandsons, Josh (Angie) and Adam; his great grandchildren, CJ, Joshie, Morgan, Lyla and Hannah; his sister Ora Robinette; his sisters-in-law, Betty Boo, Doris, Deb and Gracie; and his niece Alice.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Newcomer - Southwest Chapel (3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123).
