With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Walter F. Bakenhaster of Columbus, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia (Wilson); his sons, Daryl and Donald; and his siblings, Bill, Paul and Geneva (Hunt).
He is survived by: his children, David, Debbie and Denise; his daughter-in-law Carol; his brother Ronald; his grandchildren, Dreama Noel (Scott), Derek, Dustin (Sarah), Ashley Snow (Will) and Megan Dudley (Derek); and his great grandchildren, Julia, Olivia, Damon, Nathan, Ian, Eliana, Jaxon, Lukas and Morgan. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Community Church (210 Obetz Rd, Columbus, OH 43207). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
