She was predeceased by : her parents, Mildred M. Southard and Francis L. Southard; her former life partner Fred L. Harper; her siblings, Joanne F. Ralston (David), Norma J. Cummings (James) and Richard Southard; her nephew Michael Cummings; and her close friend Lora Dell Dent (Richard).
She is survived by : her daughter Jan Hunt (Dan); her grandchildren, Joshua Ford (Tiffany) and Kari Ford; her nieces, Barbara Capuana and Paula Spinosi; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Collier (Ryan), Tim Wilcox (Julia) and Michael Harper; her close friend Erma McLaughlin; her cousins, Kari and Josh; her aunt Jan; and her friends, Deeply, Fred Maker, Happy and Dedicated. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Virginia's honor to Nationwide Children's Hospital.
