He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben Paley and Rose Paley; his brother Martin Paley; and his grandson Justin Vanguilder. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Paley; his grandchildren, Ryan Vanguilder, Hayden Paley, Jonah Paley, Shaelin Smyth, Darraugh Smyth, Conor Smyth, Abby Fishman, Rose Fishman, Ali Link, Brian Link, Keri Link and Christopher Geigner; and his sister Ruth Mendelevitz.
