With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Selma Kahler (Columbus, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Selma left this world on January 21, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Josef and Maria (Fred). She is survived by: her children, Michael and Christine Parker (Jay); her grandchildren, Kenny (Katie), Mike and Tiffany; and her great grandchildren, Skylar, Alexis, Lilly, Logan, Zoey and Sebastian.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Egan-Ryan Funeral Home (403 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Thomas the Apostle Church (2692 E 5th Ave, Columbus, OH 43219). An entombment will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the Green Lawn Cemetery (1000 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, OH 43223).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Thomas Church, The Columbus Zoo, The Wilds, or your favorite animal rescue.
