He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Eddie Draughon and Avetta Draughon; his children, Leon, Thomas Draughon, Chrisolene Johnson and Terri Reed; his grandchildren, Dimitri, Anton Draughon and Tamlyn McCrary; and his siblings, James, Velton, Charlie Henry, Billie, Roy "Homey", Odell, Barbara Draughon, Ruthella Womack, Christella Woody and Rose Green.
He is survived by: his wife Dalene; his siblings, Joseph (Ernestine), Johnny and Margie Roberts (Walter); and his children, Steve (Denise), Shawn (Ashleigh), Jaymes McKinney (Cynthia), Trina Draughon and Melissa Majors (Terrance). He is also survived by five grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
