Rose Compton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Compton of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Dauer and Mildred Dauer (Eastman); and her sisters, Sherry Lorraine, Karen Jean and Joanne.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin "Eddie" Compton; her children, Peggy Compton (Renee), Misty Adolph (Jon) and Christopher Compton (Anne); her brother Jerry Dauer (Sue); and her grandchildren, Clinton, Lauren, Meagan, Eddie, Rose and Lily. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 9:45 AM. A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Union Cemetery (3349 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43204).
