He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Rathburn and Eulala Rathburn (Springer). He is survived by: his wife Alice Rathburn (Perrin); his son Eric Rathburn of Newtown, Pennsylvania; his stepdaughters, Jill Rathburn (Donald Croce) of Nashville and Susan Torroella (Luis) of Ellicott City, Maryland.; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Rathburn, Allison Rathburn, Justin Rathburn, Christopher Croce (Catleya), Dominic Croce, Bryan Croce, Nicholas Torroella and John Torroella; his great grandchild Nicholas Morello; his brother-in-law Karl Perrin (Ann) of Burnaby, BC; and his cousins, Verna Stratton (Donald) of Lima, Ohio. and Donna Palmer (Russell) of Lima, Ohio.. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus (93 W Weisheimer Rd, Columbus, OH 43214).
