He was predeceased by: his father Robert Smallwood; and his aunt Linda White Miller. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Smallwood (White); his daughter Sidney Smallwood; his wife Kay Smallwood; his son Grayson; his stepchildren, Geena, Kelsey, Kole and Liza; his sister Carol Smallwood; his half-sister Bobbi Rodgers (Kevin); his nephew Aidan Riggle; his aunts and uncles, Bill White (Jean), Inglis Miller (Jeanne), Joyce White and Melanie Potts (Mike); and his close friend Chad Reynolds.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warriors would be welcome.
