He is survived by: his wife Canila Forte-Mitchell; his sisters, Thelma Chandler and Betty Ford; his children, Danielle Hairston-Miles (Larry Miles), Lona Mitchell and Bobby Summerall Hodge-Summerall (Angela); and his stepchildren, Starlena Forte, Lea Carter, Andre Summerall (Drucilla), Mark Forte' and Lamon Forte'. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
