He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Lithuanian; his wife Sunnie; his stepsons, David and Jonathan Steinberg (Virginia); and his children, Marsha Hallet, Dr. Michael Hallet (Joyce), Sandra Gitlitz (Gary) and Janice Yohai (Steve). He was also cherished by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
