He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Hoover and Ruth Hoover (Waters); his wife Terry Hoover; his brothers, Duke Hoover and Ken Hoover; and his grandchildren, Buzzy Wolfe and Taylor Wolfe.
He is survived by: his brother Ron Hoover (Janet); his son Kurtis Hoover (Aarika); his godson Gilbert "Buzz" Wolfe (Ronda); and his grandchildren, Jordan Hoover, Jaimee Hoover, Alec Evans, Christopher Harris, Kyle Harris, Shad Wolfe (Sierra) and Mark Banks (Danielle). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.
