It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard McFarland of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard McFarland to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Richard Rice and Mildred McFarland Rice; his grandson Jon Williams; and his great grandchild Lucy. He is survived by: his wife Winnie McFarland; his children, Eric McFarland (Julie), Kristen (Vic) and Matthew (Kimberly); his siblings, Malcom McFarland (Mary Alice) and Joann Ongaro; his grandchildren, Brian McFarland (Lindsey), Michael McFarland (Ciara), Nate Newman, Alex McFarland (Kristen), Zachary McFarland, Kayla McFarland and Samuel Richard Williams (Gabby); his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Ellie, Bennett, Henley, Riley, Zora and Karsyn; and his pets, Sylvester and Ava.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tidd Family Funeral Home (5265 Norwich St, Hilliard, OH 43026). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Tidd Funeral Home (5265 Norwich St, Hilliard, OH 43026).
