He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Lee Thomas Patterson and Annie Williams Patterson; his grandparents, Sydney and Elizabeth Patterson; and his aunts, Armazel Williams and Mary Lee Valentine (Thomas).

He is survived by : his aunt Odessa Lipscomb (Lloyd); his sisters, Joan Spencer, Angela Curry and Tina Valentine (Fred); and his son Paul Lee Thomas Patterson III (Renee). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the East Chapel (5456 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43232). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Glen Rest Memorial (8029 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068).
